Metro Garage Door, Inc. is a family owned and operated company. We’ve been serving the metro Atlanta area since 1992 in the garage door industry. In May 2012, Metro Garage Doors, Inc. and L&W Insulation and Fireplaces, Inc. (since 1979) joined together to add fireplace and insulation services to the company’s garage door business. Our business consists of three main areas: garage doors, fireplaces, and insulation. We offer services, repairs, replacements and installations for residential and commercial customers.

We've had a great experience. We just had new garage doors put on our house and everyone there was very nice and personable. The guys that came out to install the doors were very professional and courteous and did a great job too. We will have them back to install gas logs soon and have referred them to others.

Rep arrived at the appointed time. Made a diligent effort to repair my old unit. It was irreparable, but a new unit was affordable. If my other door ever needs an opener, I will definitely contact Metro Garage Door.

I am very pleased with the service I received from Metro Garage Door. My appointment was scheduled promptly and the technician called to let me know when he would arrive. He explained what needed to be done and the cost. He was finished in a very short time and again explained what he had done and the warranty on the replacement parts. Your company was highly recommended by a number of my friends and I would happily recommend you to anyone who who needs garage work done.

Excellent repair job of broken garage door spring. Courteous and very knowledgeable technician. Only problem for me was that it took them over a week to schedule me because of their volume of work. I guess that also says a lot about the demand for their excellent work.

We had Mark come out for a free quote for our garage insulation install as well as our attic, they are courteous,professional and the pricing was awesome compared to other quotes. MY LEAD TECHNICIAN WAS JODY DUSENBURGY, HES NOT A 5, HES A10. JODY FIRST OFF WAS ON TIME, CAME IN WAS VERY POLITE TO ME AND MY WIFE, PLUSE HE EVEN TOOK TIME TO BE WITH STORMY - OUR DOG. JODY WENT TO WORK ON OUR FIREPLACE TO GIVE A COMPLETE CLEANING AND RESTART. WE ASKED MANY QUESTIONS AND HE ANSWERED ALL OF THEM VERY PROFESSIONALY. HE WAS FAST AND THE FIREPLACE HAS NEVER WORKED THIS GOOD EVER. I TALKED TO SEVERAL FIREPLACE AND GARAGE DOOR COMPANIES, BUT METRO DOOR SYSTEMS IS THE BEST . IF YOU WANT YOUR JOB DONE RIGHT AND REASONABLE THEN THESE ARE THE PEOPLE YOU SHOULD CALL. I KNOW I WILL EACH AND EVERY TIME. I RECOMMEND METRO.

Was recommended by Chamberlain company themselves. If you need your garage shorten on a tube rail it can be done. A ton of companies will say that it can't be done but this company still came out and didn't sale me any thing extra. Did what I asked for and accomplished the job

We had a garage door opener installed through Metro. Their prices were very competitive and the quality of the opener and the installation was great. Scheduled the installation at my convenience and the young man who did the work was professional and friendly. Couldn't ask for better experience. We will use them again for future needs.

A young fellow named Jake called and ask if he could be at our home about 30 minutes early, which was perfect. He was a pleasure to deal with, and had replaced our garage door motor, rails and sensor, and tuned up our other door, all in less than two hours. The doors are so quiet now. Excellent job. Best service EVER. The technician was professional and knowledgeable. My door had been bumped by the paper carrier leaving one square off kilter. That got fixed and he did a complete tune up also. I had been told by a Sears tech that I could not get another garage door opener as it could not be coded into my system. That I would need an expensive upgrade. The Metro Garage Door tech had no problem providing us an additional opener for our family member. THANKS FOR THE GREAT SERVICE.

Overall, the experience was good. Pricing was lower than most, had a bit of a hang up when the person who quoted the job provided an install date but when I called to confirm, I was told a different date 8 days out from the original. After I got a bit stern, they sent someone out on the original agreed upon date. He was great, worked quickly and was very knowledgeable. I’m pleased with pricing & quality but definitely feel like communication could be improved on.

Metro Garage Doors provided excellent service at a reasonable price. I was very impressed with the quality of services rendered. I thought I would have to purchase a new door but the technician was able to repair the existing door as if it was a brand new door thus saving me a lot of money. Technician was on time and had the tools to service my gas log fireplace. He talked about possible upgrades but did not push. He set right to work, explained everything he was doing, was very careful not to make a mess and cleaned up the random pieces of soot that tried to escape. Price was very reasonable.
This is a great company, they installed 2 garage doors for me a few years back, came and blew in insulation in the attic of my new house last year and are my "go to" people for any future jobs I have.
Highly professional, extremely reasonable with their rates and very friendly. They will not do you wrong.

I have been a customer of MGD for over 14 years. Impeccable service each visit. I have called Kelly for service appointment at 2:30 and next morning at 9 am Jeremy Stephens arrived, less than 24 hours, fantastic timing!!! Jeremy was not only very professional and knowledgeable individual, he also holds great people skills and damm good selling abilities:)) Looks like simple maintenance and repair appointment will turn around to motor upgrade and maybe even door replacement near future:)

We love Metro Garage Door. We have used them for 17 years. Any time we have an issue, they are quick to respond. They always seem more concerned with our satisfaction and making things work than with trying to sell us something new. They installed our original door and opener.
Over the years they have replaced the opener, replaced the spring a couple of times, adjusted the spring, serviced the door, adjusted the sensors, and replaced the bottom seal. Thanks for your great customer service!

He went the extra mile to ensure I was able to setup my key code. Our garage door technician was very helpful and professional. He took extra time and effort to ensure the garage doors made little to no noise with the installation of the new motors. Any older issues (missing pieces, misalignment, or other operational issues) were corrected before installing the motor. He was thorough in cleaning up and instructing us on the various features of our new motor, remotes, and app. A great experience and some of the best money we have ever spent.

I’m so happy I chose Metro! After getting a few calls from other places, this company seemed like the way to go. My service tech/installer was amazing! We thought there would be an issue installing because my garage is unfinished and the ceiling was rather low/easy access blocked by pipes, etc. But he managed to install due to the odd design of my place. The best part was that he even helped with my fear of spiders, but being moral support as I knocked down a few webs ?. Even ended up having a plumbing leak that occurred while he was there and he gave a hand with it as well! I’d use them again if my other garage door was functional enough to install an opener. Thanks so much y’all!

Yesterday (which happened to be Memorial Day), I came back home from vacation to find my garage door in a twisted mess! One of the torsion springs had broken, my daughter didn’t notice it, and kept pushing the button in her car.
After getting the door back on its track, I called and left a voicemail message for Shawn, since Metro was closed for the holiday.
Shawn and I spoke first thing this morning and she (miraculously) was able to squeeze us in with Jeremy and quoted me the price to replace both springs.
Jeremy arrived on-time, was extremely personable and professional, straightened out and unwound my mess, replaced the springs, and had me back up and running (without damaging my cars) in record time. The actual charge matched Shawn’s quote, plus a minimal charge to replace a couple of the bent support brackets.
I was so impressed with their timely, quality and affordable service that I told Jeremy about my sister (who needs a double bay installation) and gave her Metro’s contact information and link to their website!
