Called Metro Garage Door first thing in the morning to fix an issue with my garage door that happened that day. They were very personable and gave me a time frame. They beet the time frame. The techs name was Jimmy and he was great. He explains what caused the issue and what he was doing to fix it. He was fast and thorough. I recommend this company and Jimmy as their tech for your issues and maintenance.

My experience with Metro doors today was a really good one. The tech Jimmy was very knowledgeable about his business complete tips on how to better monitor the system, reminders on warranties that would be useful if needed, and down home good company to have. He was very funny with jokes and fun talk about family and raising kids. He kept us laughing the whole time. All while still working in a timely manner. The work was done quick and he was polite and very respectful throughout the entire process. The price was good, the work was good, and he was good company to have. The team at Metro Garage doors took great care of us through quoting, installation, and then even when we needed a service. For the quotes and install my wife was present when I was unable to be and she spoke very highly of the gentlemen who came out. She said they treated her with respect and clearly laid out the options we had based on the look and budget we had in mind.Our doors had to be custom ordered but arrived within the promised time and looked great once installed. We provided our own openers and all were installed flawlessly.A little under a year later we had an issue with an opener and Metro was able to get out for a service within 48 hours. Although initial indications were that we would need to replace the lifter motor, the technician, Jake, was able to troubleshoot the issue and save us over $200 on the cost of a new motor and install.Really appreciate the quality products and customer service provided by the team at Metro Garage!!

I am very pleased with the repair that was done to my garage on August 24, 2020. Jimmy called to let me know about when to expect him. Upon arrival, he quickly identified what the problem was. He made that repair and also tightened up the springs so the door would operate better. Jimmy was even nice enough to replace a light bulb for me. Thankful for the integrity of this company as well as its employee, Jimmy.

We purchased two garage doors and two motors one side is just fine the other ain't fine. It squeeks like a bored pig. We took pics and measurements even oil it all up trouble shootin it. Present our issue we found the install was not correct from our findings even made the adjustments come to find out they still want to charge us to come out and fix it even when it's on them for a bad install. No warranty and years off misdirected track ruined my motor. So I fixed it. Motors fine. Shame I had to readjust the level on my own. A good company with dignity would have made sure it was fine from the start and if it went bad, fix it for free, not set it up to go bad in the long run to charge you to get it fixed right later.

Mr.Jake (The Technician), arrived promptly between the time frame (8:00 AM- 11:00 AM) given by the customer service representative (Debbie G.). He wore his mask over his nose & mouth while still practicing social distancing (during the Coronavirus Pandemic). He was very professional, polite, and pleasant the entire service visit. After viewing the issues pointed out to him by myself, he provided a few options along with prices on the repairs and/or replacements available to solve the problem on both garage doors. Mr. Jake was very knowledgeable on the repairs /replacements that needed to be completed on August 19, 2020. He answered all of my questions and made me feel comfortable and sure that I made the correct decisions on all of the work completed in a very timely manner. Metro Garage Door did not install our garage door (wish they had!) Even though it is still under warranty by the company that did installed it, we have twice chosen to have Metro make any needed adjustments to it... great choice!!!!! This time Jimmy came out. Within a few minutes he had the problem solved. He then went to every bolt on the door and made sure they were all tight. When setting up the appointment, I was told that I would be happy with Jimmy.... and I was! Metro called the day before to remind me of my appointment, and Jimmy called the day of the appointment to let us know he was on his way. Very professional company that is staffed with very professional people!

I was contacted by Kelly Grant in response to a warranty claim. Kelly was courteous and efficient in arranging an appointment for a service tech. Kelly made this a very pleasant scheduling experience. The service tech was to be Brandon Collins. Brandon contacted me the evening before the scheduled visit to confirm the morning time window (8:00 - 12:00) for the visit and he committed to another call the morning of the visit to set a smaller arrival time window. Brandon followed up with the call the next morning to with the smaller target time window. Since I was his first appointment of the day, he scheduled a specific arrival time - 8:10 AM. Brandon arrived on time and immediately went to work, explaining what he was doing and why. It was clear he understood garage doors and how to address issues. He completed the necessary work and the garage door operates properly.Thanks Bandon for clear communications and for excellent work, and work done with a great attitude. Thanks also to Kelly. Brandon showed up to install 2 garage door openers. Brandon was on time and very professional. Brandon was quick as well and thorough. Garage doors open quietly, smoothly, and the installation is super clean. Brandon even programmed my remotes to each door as well as lubricated both doors and all springs and rollers. Very pleased with the service overall. I hope I do not need these guys again but if I do it will be Metro that I look to or suggest to friends or family.

First stop of the day, Brandon called last night to confirm with an 8-12 window but that we'd be #1. Did a garage door tune up, lubed everything up and adjusted the door operation. Also flipped the photo eyes as we'd been having an issue with sunshine and getting the door to close. We'll "see" on that one. It took a little bit of time for our door to come in after ordering it, but it was fine. The people here are awesome! Had a little incident where a pin popped out after installation, but they were right on to fix it, and while they were here, showed them a dent and they fixed it to were you can’t even tell it was there! Customer service is excellent. Will definitely recommend and use next time!

I couldn't be more pleased with this company. From my first phone with Kelly, who took the time to ask questions about my problem and basically diagnosed the issue within seconds. She quoted me a rate on the spot and even offered to send someone same day. I was very impressed with her professionalism. That very evening I received a phone call from the tech Brandon, who was kind enough to inform me which part of the day, I fell on his route. My original time slot was 1-4 but with Brandon being kind enough to call the day before and advise I would be the last stop, I knew to plan for late day arrival. He even gave his number and called when he was on the way. Upon arrival, he was very nice and professional. He had the repair done within 30 minutes and went above and beyond with his service. I will recommend this company to everyone!

I called a couple of days prior to prior to showing up at their facility to see if they had a part in stock and they did. Unfortunately, when I got there they did not have it. It's likely they ran out of the part between the time I called and the time I arrived. However, the customer service I received made up for the inconvenience. Debbie that works the front counter was awesome! Whoever assigned her to work there made the best decision for Metro Garage Doors, Insulation and Fireplaces. It is not often you are greeted with such a friendly, authentic smile with a personality to match! She was extremely helpful! While waiting on the parts department to attempt to locate the part I needed, in addition to helping customers that called and working with her co-workers she still found time to communicate with me and make my experience there a very pleasant one. She even offered me some of your cherries! LOL!!! The parts department, tried to identify alternative parts for me to use and also provided a logical explanation for my difficulty in being able to find it. After not being able to provide the part, Debbie was very sincere with her apology in regards to them not having it.The other staff in the office were also very friendly and took the time to speak and ask how I was doing in the midst of the all the hustle and bustle. It was evident they were extremely busy. I definitely felt the "good ole southern hospitality" while there. Because of the customer service I received, I will definitely be sure to contact Metro Garage Doors, Insulation and Fireplaces when I need a service they provide! I noticed you all make a habit of replying to customer replies to Google reviews. Please do not allow me taking the time to write this review to be in vain. I ask that you forward this to the decision makers, bring it to your staff's attention and please, please, be sure to personally acknowledge Debbie for the awesome job that she is doing!

I called two days in advance to have an appointment set to have Metro Garage Door tech come out to fix the door. My appointment was between 4-7 pm. The tech did everything possible to not arrive at the appointment including texting me that he would be there for 4 pm. I was still out handling business for a relative that passed and text the tech I would be there between 4:15 and 4:30 pm. He stated that it did not work for him, and he had others to get to, but to reschedule, i asked if he could go do the others and make my house last, but he refused. Don't use this company horrid customer service.

The people at Metro go above and beyond, everyone that passed me asked if I had been helped Kelly is a wonderful upfront person but Jermey is my Angel on one of my worst days he showed up and out on my behalf. I am unemployed after 22yrs my plant moved to Alabama amy my husband was diagnosed with MCI early onset Dementia in June. When I say God put Angel's in our lives all I can say is Hallelujah. I scheduled a spring repair for my garage door and they stiffed the repair date. When I called them back, they said I was wrong on the scheduling. They then scheduled another date the following day and they never showed up. Their receptionist accused me of lying about the scheduled dates. Very disreputable business. I scheduled my repair with Nabors Garage Door Service.

Off to a terrible start! Ordered a quote, paid in full within 30 minutes of Mark writing the quote. He advised that the install would be Friday of that week. Said I’d receive a call to schedule time and perhaps move it up since it was a “local” job and simple install. Today is Wednesday (job was ordered and paid Monday), never received a call to schedule the job so I called. Transferred twice only to hear that no one recalls the Friday promise desire it being said in front of me and my contractors. Now the install is pushed out! Nice of metro to halt work on my job site simply because they shuffle paperwork around for 72 hours and didn’t get it scheduled when it was ordered. I’ll pay more for better service elsewhere! Very disappointed! Terrible communication.

Read Wesley's review and boy does it sound familiar. We also needed to have a garage door repaired or replaced. Called this company since they were the ones who had installed both garage doors. When I called, I made the mistake of not asking if there was a service charge. (Most companies nowadays seem to want your business so they do not do the charge or least have a plan to put it toward the repair cost). The person I talked with did not tell me there would be a service charge either. We had the same nice tech, Jake Wilson, come out. He gave us estimates and then asked for the service charge. My husband came in and said they were trying to rip us off. I went out and talked to Jake and told him I was not informed of any service charge. He said he'd have the office call me. The same person I talked to before called me immediately. Started out by telling me she did tell me about the service charge (not even a slight indication of an apology) and that she had it recorded. I told her she had not told me about the charge and I would like to hear that recording. Of course, she could not play it for me since there wasn't one and started telling me that if I did not pay the service charge, I would be receiving a bill for it anyway. When I asked if the charge would be applied to the cost of job, she said only a part of it would be and that I had to commit to the job and pay half the cost along with the service charge right then or that part of the service charge would not be applied to the overall cost. I have never tried to deal with anyone who treated a customer the way she treated me - so rude, uncooperative, and condescending. I think if she had just admitted she made a mistake in not telling me about the charge, I would have felt much differently about the whole situation. I paid the service charge (big mistake again on my part), but NOT the deposit and was told that someone would contact me the following day when they actually had my check in their hands and they could get the deposit before ordering the door. We were at this point still considering having them do the work. That was two days ago and no call. Today, I called them. Again, the same person I talked with before was no help at all telling me that I sounded as if I might have second thoughts about dealing with them (duh!) and there was absolutely no pressure for us to have them do the work. Why would they care - they have my service charge check (and it was not $75.25 like Wesley's. I was first told by the rude rep that it was $123.50, but Jake told me $107.75 and that was what I paid) - and they have done nothing for it. Jake was here for about 15 minutes and did nothing but give an estimate. We called this company since they were the initial installers (we did not deal with them previously) of the doors and we have been happy with the installation and the doors. We thought we could get replacements done easier and quicker dealing with the same company. Also, we hoped we could get the repair matched to the other door without replacing both. These are the only excuses we can offer for ourselves, but we would absolutely advise anyone thinking of dealing with this company to BEWARE. We will never recommend them to anyone. Would be nice to have my $107.75 service charge back too, but will chalk it up to a learning experience.

I am one of those people that very rarely write reviews but I do read them to help me purchase things. I felt compel to write about this company. I have seem the company trucks in the Douglasville area and I gotten to the point where I needed new garage door. I gave them a call and made an appointment, I was impressed from the very beginning with the sale lady being on time and being very professional. As the order process started, I met two of the women in the office (Shea & Shun) and I was highly impressed with them as well on how they took care of my order and making sure to take care of me being a customer. Then the final nail came on the day of installation. This guy name(Tom) came to my house bright and early and completely blew me away. He was very efficient and knew his business. I am 100% satisfied and would highly recommend Metro Garage Doors to anyone who is in need of their services, Great job Metro and Mr. Tom.

Great help from the staff to assit in purchasing a set of torsion springs to replace one broken spring and the other aging one. Gavin gave me some great tips on technique for removal and replacement of the springs. They even let me borrow the torsion spring winding bar tools to do the job safely. it's good to be able to spend my money locally and get this kind of service when there is so much temptation to buy things online.

Krissy came and answered all of my questions about insulation and explained the entire process. The installer came when he said he would and completed the job in one day. Space was actually cleaner than before he started! He is the tall guy with the beard in the back row of their picture here on Facebook. Super friendly and very courteous. They also installed my garage doors a few years back but never consider them for insulation until a friend recommended them.
