Metro Garage Door, Inc. is a family owned and operated company. We’ve been serving the metro Atlanta area since 1992 in the garage door industry. In May 2012, Metro Garage Doors, Inc. and L&W Insulation and Fireplaces, Inc. (since 1979) joined together to add fireplace and insulation services to the company’s garage door business. Our business consists of three main areas: garage doors, fireplaces, and insulation. We offer services, repairs, replacements and installations for residential and commercial customers.

The tech did a great job. He was able to troubleshoot the problem in a short amount of time. He was even able to get the opener to work with the visor button in my car. He was friendly and on time and less $$ than I thought. Highly recommended.

They gave me a fair price on the phone and were easy to schedule a time. The repairman, Jeremy, arrived well within the 3 hour window given and was finished in no time. He explained the new door and and the warranty and made sure I was satisfied before he left. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

The people at Metro go above and beyond, everyone that passed me asked if I had been helped Kelly is a wonderful upfront person but Jermey is my Angel on one of my worst days he showed up and out on my behalf. I am unemployed after 22yrs my plant moved to Alabama amy my husband was diagnosed with MCI early onset Dementia in June. When I say God put Angel's in our lives all I can say is Hallelujah. Thank you so much for listening and sending someone out to take care of us on top of giving me the part's we needed to fix our garage door. I will be praying for you as you pray for me. I scheduled a spring repair for my garage door and they stiffed the repair date. When I called them back, they said I was wrong on the scheduling. They then scheduled another date the following day and they never showed up. Their receptionist accused me of lying about the scheduled dates. Very disreputable business. I scheduled my repair with Nabors Garage Door Service.

My experience with Metro was exceptional. So friendly and professional. The office staff were responsive to my questions and a joy to talk to. The technician (Brandon) went above and beyond to show me all the features, programmed my car to work with the door, and even provided me of the do’ and dont’s. Top Notch! Off to a terrible start! Ordered a quote, paid in full within 30 minutes of Mark writing the quote. He advised that the install would be Friday of that week. Said I’d receive a call to schedule time and perhaps move it up since it was a “local” job and simple install. Today is Wednesday (job was ordered and paid Monday), never received a call to schedule the job so I called. Transferred twice only to hear that no one recalls the Friday promise desire it being said in front of me and my contractors. Now the install is pushed out! Nice of metro to halt work on my job site simply because they shuffle paperwork around for 72 hours and didn’t get it scheduled when it was ordered. I’ll pay more for better service elsewhere! Very disappointed! Terrible communication.

I am one of those people that very rarely write reviews but I do read them to help me purchase things. I felt compel to write about this company. I have seem the company trucks in the Douglasville area and I gotten to the point where I needed new garage door. I gave them a call and made an appointment, I was impressed from the very beginning with the sale lady being on time and being very professional. As the order process started, I met two of the women in the office (Shea & Shun) and I was highly impressed with them as well on how they took care of my order and making sure to take care of me being a customer. Then the final nail came on the day of installation. This guy name(Tom) came to my house bright and early and completely blew me away. He was very efficient and knew his business. I am 100% satisfied and would highly recommend Metro Garage Doors to anyone who is in need of their services, Great job Metro and Mr. Tom.

Great help from the staff to assit in purchasing a set of torsion springs to replace one broken spring and the other aging one. Gavin gave me some great tips on technique for removal and replacement of the springs. They even let me borrow the torsion spring winding bar tools to do the job safely. it's good to be able to spend my money locally and get this kind of service when there is so much temptation to buy things online.

Krissy came and answered all of my questions about insulation and explained the entire process. The installer came when he said he would and completed the job in one day. Space was actually cleaner than before he started! He is the tall guy with the beard in the back row of their picture here on Facebook. Super friendly and very courteous. They also installed my garage doors a few years back but never consider them for insulation until a friend recommended them. I HIGHLY recommend them for your Garge door or insulation needs.Thanks Metro!Jeff Helms

Fantastic company and very professional! We needed some adjustments to our garage door that was actually installed by another company. They said they would be glad to do the adjustments, but explained that since the door was still under warranty by company X, a service call from them should be free. We decided to go with Metro instead. And we are glad we did! They explained everything including pricing over the phone. The service guy that came out (Brandon), called with updates through the day to let us know how many stops away he was and update his arrival time. This was great as it allowed us to run errands instead of just sitting at home waiting for the service guy to show up. Brandon quickly made the adjustments needed and explained everything he was doing. He also explained simple maintenance to keep the garage door in top shape. I strongly recommend Metro Garage Door!!!

It took a little bit of time for our door to come in after ordering it, but it was fine. The people here are awesome! Had a little incident where a pin popped out after installation, but they were right on to fix it, and while they were here, showed them a dent and they fixed it to were you can’t even tell it was there! Customer service is excellent. Will definitely recommend and use next time!

I couldn't be more pleased with this company. From my first phone with Kelly, who took the time to ask questions about my problem and basically diagnosed the issue within seconds. She quoted me a rate on the spot and even offered to send someone same day. I was very impressed with her professionalism. That very evening I received a phone call from the tech Brandon, who was kind enough to inform me which part of the day, I fell on his route. My original time slot was 1-4 but with Brandon being kind enough to call the day before and advise I would be the last stop, I knew to plan for late day arrival. He even gave his number and called when he was on the way. Upon arrival, he was very nice and professional. He had the repair done within 30 minutes and went above and beyond with his service. I will recommend this company to everyone!

We purchased two garage doors and two motors one side is just fine the other ain't fine. It squeeks like a bored pig. We took pics and measurements even oil it all up trouble shootin it. Present our issue we found the install was not correct from our findings even made the adjustments come to find out they still want to charge us to come out and fix it even when it's on them for a bad install. No warranty and years off misdirected track ruined my motor.

I called a couple of days prior to prior to showing up at their facility to see if they had a part in stock and they did. Unfortunately, when I got there they did not have it. It's likely they ran out of the part between the time I called and the time I arrived. However, the customer service I received made up for the inconvenience. Debbie that works the front counter was awesome! Whoever assigned her to work there made the best decision for Metro Garage Doors, Insulation and Fireplaces. It is not often you are greeted with such a friendly, authentic smile with a personality to match! She was extremely helpful! While waiting on the parts department to attempt to locate the part I needed, in addition to helping customers that called and working with her co-workers she still found time to communicate with me and make my experience there a very pleasant one. She even offered me some of your cherries! LOL!!! The parts department, tried to identify alternative parts for me to use and also provided a logical explanation for my difficulty in being able to find it. After not being able to provide the part, Debbie was very sincere with her apology in regards to them not having it.The other staff in the office were also very friendly and took the time to speak and ask how I was doing in the midst of the all the hustle and bustle. It was evident they were extremely busy. I definitely felt the "good ole southern hospitality" while there. Because of the customer service I received, I will definitely be sure to contact Metro Garage Doors, Insulation and Fireplaces when I need a service they provide! I noticed you all make a habit of replying to customer replies to Google reviews. Please do not allow me taking the time to write this review to be in vain. I ask that you forward this to the decision makers, bring it to your staff's attention and please, please, be sure to personally acknowledge Debbie for the awesome job that she is doing!

I called two days in advance to have an appointment set to have Metro Garage Door tech come out to fix the door. My appointment was between 4-7 pm. The tech did everything possible to not arrive at the appointment including texting me that he would be there for 4 pm. I was still out handling business for a relative that passed and text the tech I would be there between 4:15 and 4:30 pm. He stated that it did not work for him, and he had others to get to, but to reschedule, i asked if he could go do the others and make my house last, but he refused. Don't use this company horrid customer service.

I called and they were available to come out the very next day! FAST! Brandon, the technical consultant, arrived earlier than expected and fixed the problem perfectly and in a timely manner and was very personable and professional! He's a great "face for the company"! As a real estate investor who flips houses, I'll be using them again and I highly recommend them! Ask for Brandon!

Metro is a great company to call on for any garage door services. Brandon was very friendly, professional, and explained everything in detail. He was able to tell me exactly what was the problem and get it fixed. I knew nothing about garage door openers before, but Brandon explained it all that I now understand how each part works together to operate the engine. The window of time scheduled for service was 12-4, so I didn’t have to take off from work for the whole day and he called before heading to my house. Highly recommend!

I worked with Metro Garage Door after almost being swindled by another company in Douglasville (Intown Garage Door Repair). Kelly took the time to speak with me and explain what the problem was. After, I told her that I was told by someone else that I needed a brand new garage door opener kit she requested that I send pictures. Once the pictures were sent, I was advised that I only needed the trolley repaired which was only a $30.00 part. This was a far cry from the $499.00 the other company tried to charge me. Kelly provided an estimate of the cost for when the tech arrived. They sent Brandon out to my home to do the repair. Brandon was polite and very professional. He took time to explain to me what he was doing and made sure that all my questions were answered. I really appreciate the customer service, honesty and integrity provided by our company. Hats off to your TEAM!!!!

Brandon came out and installed a new garage door opener for us yesterday. He called us way ahead of the time window we were given, and said that he could come earlier if it fit our schedule. I told him that earlier was better. He arrived exactly when he said he would. He was practicing all Covid-19 procedures, diagnosed our problem and thoroughly explained what we needed. He said the entire process would be about an hour but he was done much quicker than that. The new opener works great and we are very happy with it, and most especially happy with the service we were provided by Brandon!

I dealt with Tammy?, Chrissie and Chad and while they ended up not being able to help me, they certainly tried and were very knowledgeable, friendly and courteous. I have a 25+ year old garage door opener and they could not replace my wall console due to it being outdated. I recommend them.

Jeremy Stevens did a good job today at my new home. I was having intermittent operation issues with the Genie opener. Jeremy found that the original install had two instances of wires shorting out, one on the opener and another on the doorbell switch. He not only fixed those, but also adjusted the tension for quieter operation. Jeremy deserves a great review!

Brandon is so professional and just sooooo courteous that as soon as he left my 14 year old daughter who was just standing by listening to me communicating with him said, he is soooooo nice!!!!! I called Metro this morning just before 10:00 requesting that someone come look at one of my garage doors which was malfunctioning. At 12:25 a tech was pulling into my driveway. To my surprise, it was my previous tech, Brandon! He remembered me and recalled coming out for my other garage door (August 2018). He is always so pleasant, friendly, and professional. Springs on my double garage door broke, I searched our community Facebook group for garage door repair service company and by far Metro Garage Door was referred to the most, with lots of good things said. I did my do diligence by calling other garage door companies to get a quotes, and by far Metro Garage Door quote was the most reasonable, and they didn't try to "fear" me in to unnecessary expenses, like one of the other well known companies did. Jerome, arrived ahead of schedule, was friendly and respectful, great conversation and completed the job quickly, very professional. Debbie and Kelly at the office was also nice to work with. I highly recommend Metro Garage Door for your garage door needs.

I came home on Saturday night and was having problems with my garage. It was going half way up and staying there. So I couldn't get into the garage. I called Metro on Monday and told them my problem and could I get someone out ASAP. They sent Brandon Collins..Let me say from when Brandon called me the next morning saying he was headed to my house. He was very pleasant on the phone. When he got to my house, he was very friendly and had great customer service skills. Brandon looked at my garage and gave me the ups and downs with pricing information with it. He got started and let me tell you that this man worked until my Garage was like new. I was so impressed with his skills, customer service skills, how warm and friendly he was to me. My garage door opener died after 14 years. Metro installed the original one when house was built. I have called them out to adjust it before and replace the springs, so I knew who to call. I was greeted professionally on the phone, I asked about different models, features, how quiet they were, all the usual boring questions. The representative patiently and thoroughly answered my questions. I got pricing, ended the call, called the wife to tell her whats going on. I called back and was able to be scheduled within a few days. Jake Wilson was the technician. He called about 1/2 hour ahead of time to let us know he was on the way. Arrived on time, was very courteous and professional to my wife. He quickly and efficiently removed and installed the new Belt driven garage door opener. He also programed a few extra remotes for us and when asked if he could program the cars homelink garage door remotes, he cheerfully said no problem. He did say they may not program due to them being a few years old, but was able to successfully program both. He then had my wife punch in a code for programming the keypad. He conducted himself with a high level of professionalism and was very knowledgeable. He is definitely an asset to your company.

Jake came to our rescue! Our garage door opener was smoking so we unplugged it and called Metro Garage Door. They had Jake at our door the next morning. I thought we were going to need a whole new system, but Jake assured us that he could have ours repaired and running well in quickly, for much less than I expected. Jake is friendly and honest. He worked quickly and met every need, answering every question. I will always call Metro Garage Door and ask for Jake for our Garage Door maintenance! Great Job!
