First Responder Luncheon 2019
4th Annual First Responder Luncheon
Wednesday, September 11, 2019
11 am until 2 pm
At this event, we will welcome all the first responders in our community for food and fellowship at our showroom, 12871 Veterans Memorial Highway in Douglasville.
Each year we have seen this event grow, and this year we anticipate serving over 400 first responders. We serve firefighters, police, veterans, EMTs, and everyone who puts his or her life on the line every day for our community.
Our company will be covering 100% of the cost for the event, (tents-food-seating) but we are asking for your help in order to provide each attending First Responder with a gift bag of gift cards to local businesses. One hundred percent of all donations you provide will go toward the purchase of those gift cards.
If it is easier, we are accepting gift cards as donations also ($5 – $10 Amounts). For donations, please make checks payable to Metro Garage Door, Inc., with First Responders Lunch in the memo line.
We will have a banner at the event acknowledging all the donors along with a flyer in each gift bag listing each donor.

Douglas County Small Business of Excellence Award 2018
Excellence is defined as the quality of being outstanding or extremely good. Metro Garage Doors is excited to be a 2018 Small Business of Excellence in Douglas County.
In the eighth year of offering the Small Businesses of Excellence, the Douglas County Chamber received over 40 nominations for Chamber member businesses. After being nominated by the community and their peers, each company completed a thorough application covering company information, growth, community involvement, and overcoming adversity, among other criteria. An independent panel of judges composed of business professionals and community leaders reviewed the applications, met to discuss their findings and made their selections. Metro is pleased to be one of the top 12 business chosen for this great award.
